Prague, 3 December 2024 – The satellite toll system, which was built and successfully launched on 1 December 2019 by CzechToll and SkyToll, celebrated its 5-year anniversary since its launch. The new toll collection technology was launched without any complications and without any toll collection outage. Massive preventive measures have also prevented traffic complications caused by carriers leaving the registration to the system to the last minute.
Bratislava, 26 August 2024 – The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan and SkyToll, a leading Slovak company in the global road infrastructure charging industry, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support significantly the development of Tajikistan’s road infrastructure.
Bratislava, 10 July 2024–SkyToll, one of the global leaders in GNSS-based toll systems, has established a subsidiary in India and successfully conducted a pilot project to validate the feasibility of toll collection using GNSS technology. The Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) Pilot Project demonstrated a free flow detection system capable of toll classification and traffic monitoring on highways in India while maintaining normal traffic flow.
Prague, July 8, 2024 – VITRONIC, part of ITIS Holding since May 2024, has been awarded a contract by the Netherlands vehicle authority RDW to supply the observation service for the new truck toll system. A subcontractor for parts of the solution is its sister company SkyToll. For ITIS Holding, this is the first significant victory in a public tender following the acquisition of the German company VITRONIC, and it also serves as an important reference in the field of large-scale solutions for intelligent transportation infrastructure.

Bratislava, 15 March 2024 – ITIS Holding has launched a trial operation of the European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) in Slovakia. The contract with the National Motorway Company (NDS) has set the duration of the trial operation for a period of 3 months. During this period, the processes on the part of both EETS providers and the National Motorway Company itself are to be thoroughly tested on a limited number of customers.

Prague, 10 October 2023 – ITIS Holding has advanced the accreditation processes required for the provision of the European Electronic Toll Service (EETS), thanks to which carriers can handle toll payments in multiple countries with one partner and one on-board unit. ITIS Holding has successfully completed the necessary steps in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. In Poland, the documentation is going through the acceptance phase, after which the accreditation process for EETS will start in this country as well.
