Prague, January 31, 2024 – ITIS Holding, a leader in traffic technologies that is part of PPF Group, an international family-owned investment company, announces that it will fully acquire VITRONIC, a leading German traffic technology and automation provider, for an undisclosed consideration.
VITRONIC, a leader in traffic technology that is headquartered in Wiesbaden and operates in more than 80 countries around the world. The firm offers tolling and enforcement solutions, smart city technologies, and advanced automation solutions for a variety of industrial applications. In 2022 VITRONIC had sales of more than EUR 208 million. The company employs approximately 1,400 people across five continents.
This strategic investment will solidify ITIS Holding’s position in the intelligent traffic solutions market, will extend and enhance its portfolio of various technologies, will strengthen its R&D and innovation capabilities, and will provide a stronger base for further growth.

The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals from antitrust authorities in Germany and other relevant countries.
